Lori Horton Ball
Lori Horton Ball grew up in a small town in western New York. She attended Alfred University, receiving a B.A. in fine art with a focus in photography in 2007.
Lori currently lives in Rochester, New York, and in 2021 earned her MPS in the Business of Art and Design at Maryland Institute College of Art.
Lori's early body of work ranges from photography made with alternative processes (Memory 2007) to digital images, jewelry, and writings based on her vintage camera collection (Gramma’s Cameras 2011-2013).
As her life continued to ebb and flow in the late 2010s, Lori focused her creative energy on making keepsakes for friends and family.
Lori continues to experiment with various media. Her new work involves cyanotypes and paper sculptures, as well as mini art made for dollhouse enthusiasts.
